Pans & Monty

Kaila and Nicole wanted to capture their life with their two gorgeous floofs.

Heads up: This photoshoot happened last summer and I didn’t have a BLOG at the time. So, now I’m going back to those interviews/pictures and putting together the stories of my first sessions. Kaila & Nicole have since welcomed a third kitty, Grayson, into their life and just moved into a new home in Hamilton.

What are some of their quirks/funny habits?:
“Monty loves laying on the fridge and watching what’s happening below. He also likes standing on Kaila’s shoulders. He’ll watch us in the bath. And he has a gross habit of dropping toys in the toilet and then bringing it to us.” Nicole answered.

“And Pans always sleeps in the bed and takes up the most space. She also, weirdly, loves to hear when Nicole says ‘Pans has no hands’” Kaila laughed.

“That’s because I always said it to her in this weird voice when she was a kitten” Nicole replied and then demonstrated the voice, making us all laugh.

Describe them in a few words each:
Pans, 9yr: Sweet, Intelligent, Princess, Loyal
Monty, 1yr: Hunter, Playful, Curious, Lovable

If they were actors, who would they be?
“Pans would be Jessica Alba because she’s a sassy, down to earth, intelligent, sweet woman. And Monty would be Ryan Gosling because of his light colouring, skinny face, and attractive, romantic charm.”

Do they get along?
“They tolerate each other. Monty is like the annoying little brother who always watches what his big sister is doing, but that bothers Pans because she just wants her space. But, she comes from a house full of cats and she wasn’t tolerant of any of them. Monty is different, she’ll put up with him. We think it’s because he has the right personality to bring that out of her. He’s persistent and she finally gave it.”
