5 Outdoor Location Tips
Here's 5 things to look for when picking an outdoor location for your pet photoshoot:
1) Easy Parking: Small lots, easy to find each other 🚗
2) Shade: Either trees or a building. Shade filters the light nicely = looks better in photos, especially on sunny days 🌳
3) Quiet/Not busy: Less people = less distractions for your dogs, more comfort for us humans, and less unintentional photobombing 💣
4) Nice Landscapes/"Pockets Of Pretty": The nicer the landscape, the nicer the photos. But some places shine by having "pockets of pretty" - aka a few pretty spots among an otherwise plain place. Think tall grass, wildflowers, water, vines, a nice wall etc 🖼️
5) A Short Walk From The Parking Lot: We don't want to waste time by having to walk too far to get to our photo spot. 2-5min is ideal so we can spend more time shooting and less time strollin’ 🚶♀️
🔥Bonus Tip: To avoid crowds, shooting on Mon-Wed is usually best
