Charities

Below are projects I’ve done for local charities:

HBSPCA Christmas Minis 2022

For the 2nd year in a row, I partnered with the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA by hosting Mini Sessions that supported their cause. A portion of each session was donated.

“The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA (HBSPCA) is committed to thriving animals, thriving pet families and thriving communities.”

HBSPCA Christmas Minis 2021

For Christmas, I offered Mini Sessions that helped support the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA by donating a portion of the proceeds

“Founded in 1887, our mission was animal protection and our focus was working animals. Today, and guided by the human animal bond, the Society strives to keep people and pets together, help community members be the pet parents they want to be and be a voice for sentient beings who have none.”

The Farley Foundation

I teamed up with Headon Forest Animal Hospital in Burlington to raise money for The Farley Foundation in fall 2019.

“The Farley Foundation helps low-income pet owners in Ontario by subsidizing the cost of non-elective veterinary care for their sick or injured pets.”

Fur-Ever Able Dog Rescue

Fur-Ever Able Dog Rescue is currently raising money for to help disabled puppies get the help they need. I’ve donated an in-home session for auction and they are looking for other businesses to donate to help raise money. If you can’t donate a service or product, please consider donating money to help this new local rescue.

"We are a family run rescue that has MANY supports put into place to help newborn pups in need. Did you know that Dogs who are born with a disabilities do not get to experience life to the fullest as they are immediately euthanized. We are here to help!”

New Collar Collective

In February 2020 I met up with a team of kind-hearted individuals and their pups to shoot content for their website. They launched their non-profit animal rescue in early April, right in the middle of Covid-19 (that takes real dedication!). And, while practicing all social distancing rules, have continued to do what they can to advocate and participate in animal rescue. If you can, please help them help animals in need.

“New Collar Collective is a not-for-profit animal rescue organization committed to alleviating animal homelessness. In pursuit of this mission, New Collar Collective rescues stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered companion animals requiring care, attention and human assistance. We believe in the transformative power of love, so all of our animals are placed in nurturing fosters homes. While in foster care, they receive the vetting and basic training required for them to thrive once adopted out to loving forever homes.”
