When I asked Crystal why she wanted a photoshoot she explained, “I wanted to document his cuteness in professional photos. It’s never the same when you use your phone, it’s also a reason for us all to dress up and look our best. We recently got another puppy too, so I wanted to get professional photos done of just us three before our 2nd fur baby came along!”

How did you become a furfam?
“My husband, Manuel, and I decided we wanted a fur baby 2 years after we lost our first fur baby, Obie (who was a beautiful brindle, male boxer who made it to 13 years old!). We felt after 2 years we were ready to get another pup and so we started searching. We found Chiefy online and drove 2 hours to pick him up, he was 5 months old when we got him (he’s 2 years now).”

What does Chief mean to you?
“Chief means the world to my husband and I, he is just the sweetest, cutest Frenchie we’ve ever met and we just love him so much - super biases! My husband and I are so careful when caring for Chief, we are constantly talking about how he’s doing, how we can become better at watching want he eats and training him to be more obedient.”

How did getting him change your life?
“Getting Chief changed our lives completely, it’s a big responsibility because we can’t leave him home for long periods of time and he’s also on a schedule with walking and feeding times - but we love it! He’s brought so much joy into our lives and we both love him so much! He’s our little fur baby!”
